WHO WE ARE ?

INNOVATIVE SHIPOWNER

OFW Ships is a French shipping company that operates and offers a water bottling vessel, also known as
Marine Bottling Plant, for customers in the beverage and distribution industries.

OFW Ships, a shipowner and charterer created in 2013, was born from the intuition of Régis Revilliod,
a former merchant navy captain: to install a bottling plant on board a ship.

After 2.5 years of technical study phase , the maritime feasibility of the project was validated by Bureau Veritas
and its agri-food feasibility by an internationally renowned laboratory.

AN ADVENTURE ON A HUMAN SCALE

GENESIS OF THE PROJECT

INCEPTION AND EARLY STAGES

Régis RÉVILLIOD, a former merchant marine captain and industrial engineering specialist,
had just completed the automation of a water bottling plant when he had the idea of a factory ship dedicated to the bottling of ocean water.

Ocean Fresh Water is created in June 2013. The activities focus mainly on the technical part and the feasibility study of the project.
After two and a half years, the study work leadd to the validation of the feasibility of the concept by internationally renowned control companies.

This innovative concept is met with approval and several orientations are considered.
The co-sourcing solution is chosen for water brands wishing to expand their range or companies in the retail sector interested in launching their own brands.
