OFW SHIPS OFFERS WATER PRODUCTION RUNS
A water production run takes place over one week during which up to 2500 pallets, or 2.5 million liters, can be produced on board.
During its 5 days journey, the boat draws deep water in the high seas, continuously filtering, bottling and palletizing. The remaining two days are dedicated for navigation to port and pallets delivery.
WATER PRODUCTION ON THE HIGH SEAS
Our on-board bottling plants are located at a reasonable distance from the coast to collect water less exposed to pollution. Pure, it is also rich in high quality marine minerals. A ship thus provides unique access to a resource of constant quality (complete certification and traceability) as well as a safe and regular supply with a water source representing nearly 90% of the world’s resources spread over 70% of the planet’s surface.
FROM PREFORM TO STORAGE, A FULLY EMBEDDED CHAIN
P.E.T balls are loaded on board to be melted and molded into preforms. Integrated blow-molding machines then work in a chain to obtain the bottles that join the filling and packaging lines.
Our customers therefore have the freedom to offer and make available their own molds for production. Labelers and palletizers then take over before transport to the storage area.
MOBILITY AND FLEXIBILITY, THE KEY WORDS OF THE BOTTLING VESSEL
The mobility of ships makes it possible to produce not far from delivery ports and to divide by ten the distance covered by water bottles. According to a “cabotage” plan, a ship can even deliver several ports in a region. With this process, it is no longer the bottle that travels, but the factory.
